Description
Stay in this quiet, cozy chalet on a nature park in Drenthe. Here you can use all the shared facilities on or next to the campsite, such as a swimming pool (for a fee), tennis court, restaurant, indoor children's paradise, mini golf, sports fields and an animation team that organizes all kinds of activities. The chalet is large enough for a couple or a family, has a beautiful kitchen, compact bedrooms and is equipped with heating and suitable for all seasons.
The chalet has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. You can prepare tasty meals in the open kitchen, then eat them outside on the terrace. The children can play in the large park at the table tennis table and the many playground equipment. During the high season there are many organized activities.
In the vicinity are many nice towns and villages to visit, such as the idyllic Giethoorn (10 km), Assen (20 km) and Heerenveen (17 km). At 500 m you can do your shopping at the supermarket and eat out at local restaurants. For a day of hiking in nature, the Weerribben (15 km) are definitely recommended.
The area lends itself extremely well to Bicycle tours and walks, the surroundings are beautiful.
Caution:
the park owner allows only recreational use of this chalet. Seasonal workers can unfortunately be denied access.

The forest house was a very nice stay. It was clean, there was ventilation in the bathroom. Great that there was a bbq, we used it a lot. On arrival there was even a bottle of wine and a delicious cake. Enough crockery. Please note, the beds were very soft in our opinion, you just have to love it. We found it no problem. The backrests of all seats (sofa / armchair, dining table chairs and patio chairs) were tilted quite far to the back, so you were not sitting upright when you were against the backrest. We also did not find this a problem, but we did notice. It was also nice that there was an electric fireplace and it was also nice that there was a drying rack for hand washes. I would definitely recommend the forest house.
The caravan Boshuisje 101 was great. Everything you needed was there and in very good condition. A wonderful place for the elderly to completely relax, but families with children can also enjoy themselves at the campsite. There is a recreation team for the youngest children. Children can also quickly walk to the sports field to meet other children. The area is also beautiful for cycling. This caravan is definitely recommended for a nice holiday.
Clean stay with lovely smelling bedding and towels. A chalet, so thin walls and in terms of outdoor space I expected a little more privacy, the number of people cycling or walking by is nil. In the area you can take nice walks and bike rides, collecting the key at the reception went well. On arrival there was also something delicious from the bakery in the cottage
What a bad experience! On arrival the chalet is in a filthy condition, have to clean the toilet yourself! Yak! Owner only confirmed that it is not good but offered no action to fix it. In addition, the beds are not good, the advertisement states that it has a high comfort level, but the beds are in reality 188.5 cm long. Owner continues to claim high and low that they are 2 meter box spring beds, even when supplying photo material with measuring tape, this is rejected. We immediately requested an alternative, but nothing came! We were forced to arrange a different way to spend the night ourselves because we cannot sleep in this house. Owner still Belvilla does not want to give money back for nights that were not enjoyed while they themselves do not meet their own rental conditions. Belvilla 24 hour SOS service promised to call back, but the reality is that we always have to call for answers that we do not get. Holiday has been ruined in the meantime. In short: do not book here! Owner and Belvilla are unreliable in this matter.
The Boshuisje is located on holiday park Adelhof exactly between the villages of Frederiksoord (1 km) and Vledder (1 km). The cottage is clean and fully equipped. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The park has a restaurant of excellent quality which is run by friendly people. Vledder has a butcher, bakery, supermarket, drugstore and catering. The surrounding villages are all part of the Colony of Benevolence, which makes the accompanying cycling and walking tours very attractive. The Boshuisje is a must.
"t Boshuisje we really liked! Wonderfully quiet, beautiful (cycling) environment and well-equipped house in a well-kept park with swimming pool right next to it. But really in the forest, so lots of shade. Nice bed, good chairs inside and outside, excellent reading light, sharp knives (where can you find them in a holiday home!), So you can cook yourself.In short, a perfect base for a stay to recover from a busy life.
