This wonderfully rural, detached chalet, directly on the slopes, with a magnificent view of the "Hochkönig", is an ideal starting point. The chalet is cozy and well furnished and has a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms with a double bed and a separate bathroom. A carport is available. The balcony or terrace offers a wonderful view over the adjacent ski slope.

Due to its central location, Maria Alm is an ideal starting point for many day trips to Salzburg or Zell am See, Schloss Ritzen, the Kaprunner Stausee, the Großglockner, Burg Hohen Werfen and the Eisriesenwelt. It was a very nice holiday. The cottage is ideally located to discover the area. We were there with the 2 kids. The house itself is not that big, but you don't have to because you often go out. You can walk to the nearby village, to go to the shop/restaurants. They are very friendly owners. We had some problems with the WiFi due to a lightning strike nearby. The people have done everything they can to fix it, and to keep us informed. Since you are staying in Maria Alm, you will also receive a Hochköning card, which gives you free access to the summer lifts and a discount in many places. So a nice extra!
Top reception, heavenly place. In the grounds of the farm but still very private. A nice fishing pond nearby where our children (13 and 11 years) were also allowed to fish and catch lobsters! Trampoline and litter of young cats made the party complete. Fantastic view of the meadows and mountains. The house is neat and there was everything you needed. Fresh bread rolls were delivered to the door every morning upon request. There is so much to do in the area: tobogganing, Waldpark, castles, Klamm caves, ski lifts, mountain bike hire, archery, etc. In the lovely village of Maria Alm there are many nice restaurants. Really recommended to go to this house!

We were warmly received. Cottage was perfect. Good clean, beds were made. Maria Alm is a pleasant village. For us a great and beautiful walking environment. This could also be done directly from the cottage.
