Description
Located in Huisduinen, this former coastguard tower has been transformed into a holiday home for 2 with a spectacular view. De Kustwachttoren has been renovated while maintaining its original character, with the holiday apartment situated on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor of the tower with stunning views over land and sea.
From the sofa on the 5th floor, guests can use binoculars to look for seals. Guests can even spot the island of Texel in all its glory. Through the patio doors, guests can access the balustrade, which was built to encircle the tower. The bedroom, living room and kitchen are very comfortable and are perfect for a couple looking to relax.
The owner provides 2 bikes free of charge to guests. And can also provide breakfast on the first morning at a nominal charge. Guests are welcome to use the free Wifi inside the apartment.
Shops and a supermarket are located 3 km away. Although it is possible to cook a lovely meal in De Kustwachttoren, guests will find various restaurants in the vicinity. After a walk on the beach, it is lovely settling down in one of the beach pavilions. A visit to Fort Kijkduin is a must.
There are 2 bicycles available for you free of charge.
You can arrange breakfast for the 1st morning through the homeowner. Costs 35 euros for 2 people.

It wasn't as we imagined ...... the landlord and belvilla were very unapologetic .... ,,. we wouldn't go there any more
The location is just stunning! The view is amasing, Inside the tower, the rooms are rather big and charming, decorated with taste, It is big enough for a family with 4 children, Of course one should not be afraid to go up and down the stairs, especially as the kitchen is second floor whereas livingroom is 4th flour,
Despite the fact that we had previously indicated that we could not carry out the holiday due to Corona issues, our emails and messages were not responded to and Belvilla was also unreachable by telephone. We eventually let others use the accommodation because otherwise the money would have been completely thrown away. Even now, more than a week later, nothing has been heard from Aan Zee. Bad though!
Unique location, beautiful view. if you have good mobility a super house.
