De Marckhoeve

It is a lovely vacation home, very spacious. There's a nice activity room where you can do various things even in bad weather. The garden is very child-friendly, and it's fun with the chickens. The plancha is highly recommended; you can have a great barbecue on it. Both in the conservatory and the living room, there are nice large tables to have breakfast and dinner together. There is a bit of a steep staircase going upstairs, but it does have a safety gate. Upstairs, the bathrooms have already been nicely done, while the large bathroom downstairs could use some renovation, maybe it will be next in line in the future. In the kitchen, everything you need is available. There is plenty to do in the area; for instance, we went to the Ilse woods and visited the garden near the Kolonie, which is also nice for small children. It was also the fair in Merksplas; we went there for a bit too, it's small-scale with a nice atmosphere! In short, we had a wonderful weekend!!

Het huis heeft veel ruimte. De indeling is bijzonder. De grootte van de kamers in vergelijking met deze van de badkamer beneden is buiten proportie.

We had a good time with 6 adults for 1 week in Merksplas - check in and out was easy and flexible - the owner accepted the feedback of last time and improved a few things - we will come back in march.

We booked the place now several times and enjoyed the stay every time - we had a BBQ and enjoyed the cooking in the big kitchen and the several options to have dinner with a lot of people. Looking forward to the next stay and spring and summer days

Not very new but very spacious. The stairs to the bedrooms are really dangerous though and you can fall quickly. When the weather is nice, you can have a great time outside and they offer to prepare wood for an extra charge.

Beautiful, cosy and very spacious house notwithstanding some minor flaws or shortcomings. Friendly welcome by the owner. Beautiful surroundings for cycling.

We have booked this nice Villa now several times with our project team when we work in Belgium - this time we could use the winter garden for cooking amazing big garden for BBQ and to sit at the fireplace. We would recommend it and will book it again if possible.

It is a renovated farmhouse. The kitchen and living room are spacious and cosy. There are many cupboards and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need (coffee machine, kettle, pans, spices, ...). In the reviews it said that the oven is small but it has already been replaced by a normal oven. The rooms are basic but fine. The downstairs bathroom is out of proportion and very large. This space could be rearranged (but this is certainly not disturbing or anything, just a tip). It could have been cleaned a bit better, although it wasn't really dirty. Rather, I think it had been empty for a while and there was some dust on the floor again and some spiders had made a web here and there. The garage/playroom was well used by us . It was a nice extra to play darts, air hockey, beer pong and table football. The veranda has not yet been renovated. The roof and windows really need replacing. We were not quite ready at 10 o'clock to leave the house when the cleaning lady arrived. We were given a little extra time which was very nice.

There was lots of room to stay. The play area was also well equipped. We also had enough space to safely store and charge the bikes. We used the veranda for eating and it gave good views of the large garden.

Beautiful house with a large living room, kitchen, conservatory, and space for table tennis, etc. The garden is very large. However, there is a dangerous staircase leading upstairs.

Beautiful holiday farm with plenty of space in every respect, a lovely large garden with privacy, and a terrace with furniture. Notably, there's the play shed with many items where the youth can have a great time. There's also a nicely equipped kitchen and a friendly owner.

We had a wonderful time at De Marckhoeve with a group of 8 adults and 2 children! A large farmhouse with a cosy dining and living area, Beautiful and peaceful surroundings!
