It is part of a whole chain of Bodden waters in the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park. Thousands of cranes rest here in autumn and offer a spectacular natural spectacle. The Bodden is an ideal area for all kinds of water sports and is also very popular with anglers. Only a few kilometers away from Vieregge is the Schaabe, a twelve-kilometer-long spit, which, with its fine sand, is considered one of the most beautiful bathing beaches on Rügen. Opposite Vieregge is the island of Hiddensee, which can be reached by ferry from Schaprode. The well-known sights of the island such as the chalk cliffs, the Granitz hunting lodge or the white town of Putbus can be reached by car in less than 45 minutes.

Een perfecte plek voor een weekendje weg! De faciliteiten waren van topklasse en de nabijgelegen attracties waren gemakkelijk bereikbaar. We hebben vooral genoten van de lokale eetgelegenheden.

Het terras was voor ons een hoogtepunt. We brachten onze avonden door met grillen en genieten van de prachtige zonsondergang. De locatie is rustig maar dichtbij skigebieden, wat perfect was voor onze wintervakantie.
