The owners have completely renovated the house and transformed it into a comfortable and spacious group accommodation. There is a small, inviting garden next to the house, but the balcony with comfortable garden furniture also invites you to enjoy relaxing moments. The popular tourist destinations of Winterberg and Dillingen, which attract with their excellent ski slopes, as well as the breathtaking nature around Lake Diemelsee and in the picturesque Sorpe Valley are only 15 minutes away by car and are therefore easily accessible. The close proximity to hiking trails that lead right past the house opens up fantastic opportunities for you to explore the area. This holiday home is an ideal holiday accommodation for families and friends.

We had a nice holiday / vacation time in the Elpetalhaus. There was enough space for 9 children and 3 adults. The kids had a lot of fun, especially playing billiards or table football. In the living room you could sit well together and in general the house is very comfortably furnished. The landlady is very nice and uncomplicated.
The area where the house is located is beautiful. The house itself and the interior is very dated.
I would actually describe the accommodation as "value for money". The house is cozy. Especially the large living room There is a lot of space, large and well equipped kitchen. However, the house was clean only at first glance. There were a lot of cobwebs in the corners and socks from the previous tenant under the bed. Something like that is uncomfortable. However, the mattresses, pillows and duvets were reasonably clean and smelled freshly laundered. The worst thing about the house, however, was the poor insulation and sometimes much too small radiators in some rooms. The heater got hot quickly, but the rooms stayed cold. We almost all froze at night! A room (under the roof) remained uninhabited, since it was freezing and not warm even after 2 days. So we had to move a little closer and sometimes 3 adults slept in a room that was actually only intended for one person. Such a thing is unacceptable! The house is well located and there is a good bakery next door. We had a great weekend thanks to the snow in Winterberg. However, we would not book the accommodation again.
Nice, complete, clean and very spacious house. All amenities are available. The surroundings are beautiful.
A wonderful base in a beautiful setting. Lots of space, very clean and a quick and friendly responding owner. You can play table tennis or pool in the basement or in the attic. Nice sofas and well-equipped kitchen. We will definitely come back again!
