Schierke is a small, charming climatic health resort and winter sports resort at the foot of the Brocken. Highlights include the spa park, the historic train station with the Brockenbahn and the good location for hikers, skiers and snowboarders. There is a supermarket, cafes, restaurants and the sales point for the famous "Schierker Feuerstein" on site.

Activities: The Brockenbahn train station can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Trips to the Brocken and Wurmberg start in the immediate vicinity. Wernigerode and Braunlage can be reached quickly. Mountain bikers will find tours in the "mountain bike swing", and in winter around 40 km of trails offer ideal cross-country skiing conditions with altitudes of over 1,000 meters and challenging routes for skiers.

Notre séjour aux Ferienhaeuser im Schierke Harzresort a été tout simplement délicieux ! La maison de vacances était spacieuse, magnifiquement conçue et équipée de tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour une retraite confortable, Après une journée de randonnée sur les sentiers à proximité, c'était l'endroit idéal pour se détendre, Le sauna était une touche luxueuse que nous avons beaucoup appréciée ! De plus, étant à quelques pas de la gare du Brockenbahn, nos trajets vers le Brocken étaient sans effort, La région est sereine, entourée d'une nature époustouflante – idéale pour quiconque recherche une escapade paisible
