Our charming, rustic log cabin is embedded in a spacious garden plot and offers plenty of space for guests of all ages. In the attic you will find an open sleeping loft with a cozy mattress camp - a real highlight for little adventurers! When the weather is nice, the spacious garden invites you to play, romp around or relax with a good book.
The idyllic Dornhan, a small town in the Rottweil district, is surrounded by a breathtaking landscape of mountains, valleys, forests and fields. Plateaus with wonderful viewpoints as well as historic castle ruins such as Lichtenfels Castle, Brandeck Castle and Leinstetten Castle tell of the rich history of the region. Every Wednesday the weekly market on the monument square attracts visitors with regional delicacies and a colorful hustle and bustle.

On hot days, the nearby outdoor pool offers welcome refreshment. For hiking and cycling enthusiasts, there is an excellent network of paths that can be explored with maps at the tourist information office in Dornhan Town Hall. Just a short drive away is Rottweil, the oldest town in Baden-Württemberg, with an impressive old town, charming shops and the aquasol water park. For wellness lovers, Freudenstadt is a perfect destination to unwind and relax.
A café that you can reach in just a few minutes' walk is the Backkörble. Here you can treat yourself to freshly baked treats and enjoy a little break - ideal for relaxing after a walk or excursion.

Fantastic garden with trampoline for the children. The log cabin is not modern, but certainly charming for those who like simplicity. The owners are very friendly, helpful and we were even welcomed with coffee and German 'Kuche'! Highly recommended.

Een heerlijke retraite in het Zwarte Woud! We hielden van de rustige sfeer en de mooie omgeving, De badkamer was een hoogtepunt voor mij met zijn grote badkuip, We zouden zeker terugkomen voor een andere gezinsuitje
This cabin is a gem! The spacious layout worked well for our family, and we appreciated the little details, like having a high chair and crib available, The nearby Backkörble café was a great place to relax with some pastries after our hikes

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Familienurlaub im Ferienhaus in Dornhan! Die rustikale Blockhütte war gemütlich und geräumig, mit einem schönen Garten, in dem die Kinder spielen konnten, Die offene Schlafempore war ein großer Hit bei unseren kleinen Abenteurern, Wir haben auch gerne die nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Burgbach Wasserfall und die charmante Stadt Rottweil besucht, Die Gastgeber waren warmherzig und einladend, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte, Sehr zu empfehlen für Familien, die den Schwarzwald erkunden möchten!
