A paradise for nature lovers: rustic stone houses of various sizes, comfortably furnished in the style typical of the region, on the north coast of the island of Pico in a rural setting, twelve kilometers from the town of São Roque. Each of the restored houses has a panoramic view, including towards the neighboring island of São Jorge (some even have a sea view). A small beach is about 500 meters away, depending on the location of the house; Depending on the location, a natural swimming pool is about one to two kilometers away. The second largest island in the Azores owes its name to the Pico volcano of the same name, which is almost 2,400 meters high. The island is also known for its vineyards, its impressive landscape with lava fields and as a starting point for excursions to watch whales and dolphins.
Activities nearby : The island of Pico offers a wide range of leisure activities: go hiking along the coast, ride a bike or discover the green island on horseback. The natural swimming pools of PoÇa Branca are about 1.5 kilometers away. You can go whale and dolphin watching from Madalena Port or embark on an island tour to Faial. If you prefer to take it easy, you can relax at Praia do Canto da Areia beach. In the high season, activities such as traditional fishing or in-house cheese production are sometimes offered on site.

This place is charming! The proximity to Balka Beach was fantastic, just a short walk away, The outdoor seating area was a lovely spot to enjoy our morning coffee, The hosts were friendly and ensured we had a comfortable stay,

Ons verblijf i de vakantiewoning was gewoon heerlijk! Gelegen in het serene platteland van Pico, vonden we de rustieke charme van het stenen huis een perfecte ontsnapping aan de drukte, Het panoramische uitzicht op het eiland São Jorge was adembenemend, vooral bij zonsondergang, De locatie is ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers, met wandelpaden en de natuurlijke zwembaden op een steenworp afstand, We maakten gebruik van de lokale walvisexcursies, wat een onvergetelijke ervaring was, De gastheer was ongelooflijk gastvrij en liet ons ons meteen thuis voelen, We kunnen niet wachten om terug te komen!
