There are many opportunities to walk, cycle or make a day trip to Mosel (15 minutes by car), Erbeskopf, Idar-Oberstein (35 km) and Trier (30 minutes by car). Trier is the oldest city in Germany and is definitely worth a visit. At the beginning of September we stayed for 1 week in the very comfortable home of the friendly and hospitable Burkart family. The house is quietly situated in a small village and has three terraces, one of which is on the beek. We look back on a beautiful week with lots of sun, some thunderstorms with rain and hail. It is definitely recommended for your next vacation.
We are here for the fifth time and as used to be received with a warm heart, we will certainly continue to go here in the coming years, so you lack nothing there is everything available if something is not there ask for it and madam burkart takes care of it.
Super! Very clean house where nothing is missing, good WiFi, friendly hostess and beautiful surroundings. Deserves a big 10!

Nice holiday home in the middle of a nature reserve. Merschbach a small quiet hamlet and excellent walking area. Super friendly hostess and Mr.Werden welcomed with freshly baked cake and a bottle of wine. Highly recommended for nature lovers. Thank you to the Burkart family.
