The climatic health resort of Plau am See is only 8 kilometres away - on a walk through the town you will discover the medieval origins of the town with its small, winding alleys and half-timbered houses. Many restaurants invite you to feast - both on upscale cuisine and hearty Mecklenburg country fare.

Afterwards, the monkey forest awaits your visit: a 1.8-hectare outdoor enclosure provides a natural habitat for the monkeys, which originate from Morocco.
