Forest Cube RELAX

Treehouse Getaway with Sauna

This eco-friendly holiday home in Oignies-en-Thiérache is designed like a modern treehouse, built with sustainability at its core. Thanks to straw insulation, a heat pump, and heat-recovery ventilation, the home is nearly passive. Large windows fill the living space with light and open onto nature without overlooking neighbours. The high, modular interior includes a cosy lounge box for reading or relaxing, a solid extendable dining table seating up to 4, and a comfortable king-size hotel bed that's simply hidden behind curtains in the evening. Upstairs, a private bedroom with a double bed and an infrared sauna cabin complete the retreat. Ideal for up to 4 guests, with one pet welcome.

The fully equipped kitchen features an induction hob, combination oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, coffee maker, and Nespresso machine. The shower room includes a sink, shower, and toilet. Comfort is ensured year-round with a reversible heat pump for heating and cooling, while free Wi-Fi and digital/cable TV keep you connected and entertained. Outside, a partially covered terrace with a sliding window and garden furniture lets you enjoy the outdoors even in the shoulder seasons. Beds are made upon arrival for a smooth check-in.
The property is conveniently located just 2km from the bakery, local shops, and sports activities, and 6km from the supermarket, city centre, ATM, and train station. The tourist office is around 8km away, while a swimming pool can be found within 10km, making it easy to combine peaceful nature time with practical amenities close by.
This retreat is perfect for couples, small families, or friends looking for a unique, nature-focused escape without sacrificing modern comforts. With its distinctive cube design, private sauna, and eco-conscious construction, this holiday home offers a memorable stay that blends relaxation, style, and sustainability.
