The holiday flat is located north of the centre of Trusetal in the Elmenthal district in a quiet residential area and, with its good transport connections, offers the ideal mix of peace and quiet at night and proximity to the sights. In addition to a washbasin, mirror cabinet and toilet, there is also a bathtub with a folding shower partition. The resort of Trusetal, situated on the south-western slope of the Thuringian Forest, invites you to enjoy an eventful holiday. The small river Truse gives the village its name. Whether summer or winter, Trusetal is perfect for a holiday in nature. Hikers are rewarded with marvellous views of the Inselsberg and the Rhön mountains. There are also great excursion options: for example, climbing the landmark of the village, the Trusetal waterfall, which was artificially created in 1865, should of course not be missed. Since then, every year from April / May to October, the water cascades down from a height of 58 metres over rock. The Wallenburg Tower, an attraction from the 13th century, from which you have a marvellous view as far as the Werra Valley and the anterior Rhön, also invites you to visit. The Wallenburg, once built to protect the mines, was almost completely destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. The Wallenburg tower was restored between 1964 and 65 and is now a popular excursion destination.
