Even Berlin, Potsdam or Rostock are not too far for a day trip. In the harbor village of Müritz there is a wide range of maritime activities for boat owners and for guests who want to charter a boat. From the Marina Müritz there is lock- and bridge-free access to the Müritz. You can rent open sports boats without a license or rent larger houseboats. It is also possible to get a boat license. You can also moor your own boat; there is a 90 t crane, a 3.2 ton pillar crane, a trailer parking space, marina shop and of course the shipyard service. All in all: an El Dorado for water sports enthusiasts. Anglers will also find a true paradise here, as the Müritz has an extremely rich fish population. Various species such as bream, eel, perch, zander and pike can be hooked and caught here.
