At the foot of the majestic local mountain Pimig is the small village of Steeg at 1,122 m above sea level. The community is located in the Lech Valley between the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps on the well-known Lechweg, a long-distance hiking trail through the entire Lech Valley to Füssen. Summer and winter in the Lechtal offers everything you can expect from an active holiday for two, with family or with friends.
In summer, embark on a challenging MTB tour from Steeg to Lech am Arlberg and Formarinsee, covering 32 km with over 800 meters in elevation. After the ride, relax at Freiburger Hütte with a snack and drink. Nature lovers can explore the MTB route to Krabachtal or enjoy valley hikes along the wild river Lech and the Lechtal Panoramaweg. Hikers can also follow the Höhenweg Hägerau to Holzgau. Cool off at outdoor pools in Elbigenalp or Häselgehr, or the natural pond in Vorderhornbach. For climbers, the Lechleiten climbing garden offers around 31 routes. On rainy days, unwind at the newly renovated Aqua Nova indoor pool.
In winter, the Tyrolean Lechtal offers space for winter hiking and cross-country skiing, with skiing free from crowds and long lift lines.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het appartement, Het was ruim en had alles wat je nodig had, Ik waardeerde de comfortabele bedden na een lange dag wandelen, De eigenaren waren vriendelijk en gastvrij, voelden me meteen thuis, De locatie is gewoon prachtig met veel buitenactiviteiten in de buurt, Zeker een bezoek waard!
Het appartement was precies wat we nodig hadden voor een rustige ontsnapping, Het is ruim en heeft alle basisbehoeften, van een volledig uitgeruste kitchenette tot comfortabele bedden, We waardeerden de rustige locatie, perfect om te ontspannen na een dag vol avonturen in de natuur, De Wi-Fi kon echter soms een beetje onbetrouwbaar zijn, Over het algemeen een praktische verblijf zonder grote klachten

Low-key loved the spaciousness, Everything needed was here, and the kitchen setup is great for cooking up some meals, The owner was super chill too, felt right at home
The apartment was spacious enough for our group, and the kids loved having their own bunk beds, We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which kept everyone connected during our stay
This place is a whole vibe, Super cozy and perfect for nature lovers, The views are just breathtaking and the hikes around here hit different, 10/10 would recommend for a chill getaway
