Gräbendorfer See, or Grabicański jazor in Lower Sorbian, is a 457-hectare reclaimed open-cast mining lake in the Lusatian Lake District. It is located in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district of Brandenburg, near the Spreewald forest, and is fully accessible. Those who enjoy swimming on small beaches and in shady coves will surely find a suitable spot on the 9-kilometer circular trail around Gräbendorfer Lake. The lake's trademark is the distinctive bird sanctuary island, home to a colony of seagulls. The paved circular trail, ideal for families, offers relaxed, stress-free cycling.
