Here you are in the middle of the Frisian landscape in the meadows where all kinds of cycle routes and hiking trails are signposted. Yet Harlingen is also within easy driving distance, as are Franeker, Sneek and Leeuwarden. Most special, of course, is the Wadden Sea, which you can walk to and see from the house. Beautiful views here. The IJsselmeer lake is also close by. Even a day at Terschelling or Vlieland is easy to do from here.
