The house is an island of green in the middle of the center of Ostend and within walking distance of the beach. This extremely unique house offers you everything to enjoy a carefree holiday by the sea. The living room has an impressive fireplace surrounded by valuable books that you can use with pleasure. At the slightest ray of sunshine, you can enjoy the imposing garden where you can relax by the fenced pond. Children can enjoy themselves here to their heart's content, the garden is fully enclosed with an imposing city wall and there are plenty of places where you can light the barbecue.
The centre of Oostende (Wapenplein) is 2.2 km from where you can shop for friends and families. At the same distance, you will also find the golf course.
If it's a bit chilly, prepare fantastic meals on the Falcon stove while your company can sit down at the huge dining table in the kitchen. All rooms have their own recently renovated bathroom, only the 2 "children's rooms" share 1 renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower. You enter this house through an authentic gate, which is why you cannot park on the domain itself, but there is plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets. Bicycles can be parked without any problems.

The house itself was beautifully maintained and very spacious. There were a few downsides, but all in all these are not very disturbing. The location of the house is okay, there is a shop a 2-minute walk away, but the beach is at least a 30-minute walk. For a house of 16 people we expected a little more parking space because now there is room for about 2 cars. For the rest we had no complaints and we had a very nice holiday.
The beautiful, large house is ideally situated as a base for trips to the coast, Bruges, Dunkirk, Ypres etc. It is fully equipped. We were a group of 8 and had a wonderful time.

Groot huis, masser af ruimte, Alles wat je nodig hebt is hier, De plek is super comfortabel en de eigenaar is relaxed, Kan niet wachten om foto's van de tuin te plaatsen, Deze plek is zeker een keeper
We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in dit vakantiehuis! De locatie is super handig, op slechts een korte wandeling naar het strand, De kinderen hielden van de tuin en wij genoten van de grote eettafel voor familiediners, Het enige was de parkeersituatie, maar het was te doen, Over het algemeen een solide keuze voor een gezinsuitje!
