Description
This typical Ardenner Holiday home has an exceptional location in the heights of Stoumont, in a tiny town called Monhouet. Located in a wooded area it offers a spacious lawn in a particularly quiet location. Ideal for lovers of peace, nature, and relaxation.
With its location in the countryside, walking and mountain bike tours are obvious. The ski slopes are easily accessible and a day of relaxation in the spa is also possible, as well as a visit to the Francorchamps circuit.
The stay in the form of a hexagon was designed in the late 60s by the famous architect Liège. Natural materials such as sandstone, shale, and wood were used for construction. The house offers a comfortable living space with many windows and a large bay window overlooking the spacious terrace on the South. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the garden, the forests and, the meadow. A second terrace has a barbecue.

Great place in the woods and a fantastic spacious garden with always plenty of sun and shade. Cot (you can bring a more comfortable mattress yourself) and high chair available. Furthermore, not very safe for a crawling child, due to the raised seating area and the open staircase. For example, we used the laundry rack as an improvised stair gate. Everything you need is also present, such as sufficient kitchen utensils and equipment, washing machine, dryer, etc. Wifi works well. Beds will need to be replaced in the not too distant future; they creak enormously and some are very hard. Good (Dutch) reception by the owner.
House Hexagone has many advantages, it is beautifully situated, surrounded by forests and at an altitude. Seniors should therefore take into account that there are always stairs to take before entering the property. Shower and bath are small (especially for large people) The fireplace is very pleasant. The garage is also a plus The renovated parts are ok, but the rest can certainly use a thorough cleaning. We stayed there with 3 seniors.

a very nice house with all necessary things. We could just leave on beautiful walks from the cottage and we had snow (which made it extra fun)
Pleasantly received by the owner with a full explanation of the accommodation. The house itself was equipped with everything needed in a modern home. The area was quiet and wooded. The donkeys in the adjacent pasture were pleasant company and nature was omnipresent.
Welcomed on arrival by the friendly owner, who explained everything clearly to us and gifted a bottle of Rosé and homemade jam. The house is very comfortable, kitchen fully equipped. Everything was clean and dust free. The location is beautiful, lots of privacy, quiet and really in the forest. In the evening several times seen wild in the adjacent field (wild boars). In the immediate vicinity there is much to do, from hiking to museums. Check every day well for sign! Villa Hexagon guarantees a wonderful holiday.
