Description
This authentic 1842 farmhouse is located in the beautiful Geul Valley, between the towns of Wijlre and Schin op Geul. Its comfortable bedrooms can easily accommodate 2 families.
The house is an ideal starting point for lovely walks and cycle rides through the Geul valley and the hill country. The steam train route of the South Limburg Steam Railway Company is part of the village. The train passes the farmstead at a distance of about 200 m. This location is also a great base for trips to Valkenburg (5 km) with its famous caves, the cosy city of Maastricht, Vaals and the historic cities of Aachen and Liège.
The farmstead consists of 2 separate houses connected by a connecting door. Both houses have their own terrace overlooking the Geul valley.

Proper spacious house. Beautiful location. Warm welcome. Some of the beds have good mattresses, other beds less good mattresses.
Upon arrival there was, as I had already read in the other reviews, a delicious pie ready! The owner received us kindly and gave clear instructions regarding the rules and showed interest in our stay. The area is beautiful, also in January, with a range of possible activities such as cave biking in Sibbe, Valkenburg or a visit to the Gulpener Brewery (recommended). We have also benefited from the festivities in the run-up to Carnival.
We were received very warmly by the owner. There was a pie on the table and large cakes were laid out. The house was fine. Plenty of good beds and there were even two bedrooms left. Everything was super clean. From the house you are immediately in nature.

Very warm welcome by concerned owner with Limburg custard and cakes. Apartments were spotlessly clean with good beds. Equipment in good order. We were 14 people and booked 2 separate apartments that are accessible through a door. From 1 terrace beautiful views of Geuldal and Keutenberg. Farm centrally located and close to Valkenburg.
