The small fishing port, accessible by bicycle via a secured cycle path, is an ideal location to discover the fantastic Baie de Somme with its famous seals. Cayeux-sur-Mer has a large and beautiful pebble beach known for its colourful beach huts. At low tide, a huge sandy beach is exposed, inviting you to sunbathe and look for shells. An excursion to the medieval town of St. Valéry-sur-Somme is particularly recommended. If you want to explore the region by bike, you can have bicycles from a rental shop delivered to your door. For those who prefer more comfort, enjoy the pleasures of the Somme Bay in a Belle Epoque ambience on board authentic railways from times gone by. To the rhythm of steam, travel around one of the most beautiful bays in the world and discover incredible landscapes (Le Crotoy and Saint Valéry stations).

The house was not clean. Lots of spiders with long legs. The house stinks, this was due to moisture. When you opened the door, the dirty smell hit you. But what struck us were the many pots with sticks in them that are supposed to spread a pleasant scent. So the problem of the smelly, stale air is known to the owner.
