Petrcane is a small town with around 600 inhabitants, 12 kilometers northwest of Zadar and about 25 minutes from Zadar-Zemunik Airport. There are several small supermarkets, vegetable markets and bakeries in the center. On the beaches you will find a few bars where you can relax with drinks and cocktails. There is also a bus to Zadar every 90 minutes. Petrcane is an ideal destination for a family holiday and is especially popular because of the two kilometers of sand, pebble and rocky beaches.

The majority is built in Venetian style, but the first settlements were already in the illyrical time. A walk through the old town is like a journey through the different eras of the exciting 3000-year history. Remains of Roman buildings, old city walls and gates from the Middle Ages, to the modern sights at the northern tip of the peninsula, the greeting to the sun and the sea organ are just a few stops from your "museum visit" in the open air.
