Description
This spacious and bright houseboat is located in the Waterrijck marina on the Sneekermeer near the Starteiland, within cycling distance of the pleasant town of Sneek. The perfect base for anyone who enjoys living on and by the water. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view over the lake and it will be difficult to choose between the countless options in the field of water sports.
From the jetty you step onto the spacious houseboat. Under the stairs to the huge roof terrace you enter the ground floor houseboat through the front door. On this side of the houseboat are the two bedrooms, one with a double bed (160x200cm) consisting of two separate single mattresses, bedside tables + bedside lamps and a high wardrobe. The sockets are equipped with USB and USB-C connections, a large mirror and a desk with a separate stool. In the other bedroom there are two separate single beds (80x200cm), also 2 bedside tables + bedside lamps and also smart sockets. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, washbasin with furniture and toilet. At the rear of the houseboat you will find the living room with a comfortable sofa with footstool and a separate armchair. Diagonally opposite the sofa is the cozy round dining table with 4 seats. The adjacent open kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, combination microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, Nespresso and filter coffee machine and a kettle. Through the living room you step onto the adjoining (covered) terrace (15m2) directly on the water, where you can sit in the shade all day long. There are 4 garden chairs on this terrace.
If you are traveling with small children up to and including 2 years old, a cot and a high chair are available in the accommodation. One pet is allowed in this accommodation, so your four-legged friend can go on holiday with you. Please note that the terrace is not fenced.
Water sports and the Sneekermeer… they are often mentioned in the same breath. Not surprising, because almost everything is possible here in terms of water sports. Sailing, boating, supping, fishing or sitting on the nearby beach. In the center of Sneek it is often pleasantly busy, nice restaurants and terraces and surprising boutiques. It is not for nothing that Sneek has been voted the best shopping city above the major rivers.

A fantastic house with modern design and fresh interior, Smooth check-in,
The house was spacious and well-equipped, just as described, We appreciated having a barbecue area for our family dinners, The location was nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday,
We hebben het verblijf over het algemeen als prettig ervaren. De woonboot was modern en schoon, hoewel er iets meer aandacht aan de schoonmaak besteed had mogen worden. De locatie was echter fantastisch!
De woonboot was een geweldige keuze voor ons gezin. De kinderen vonden de wateractiviteiten geweldig en we waardeerden het comfort van de plek. De boot was goed uitgerust met alles wat we nodig hadden!
We had a wonderful time at this apartment, It was clean and well-furnished, with a lovely balcony where we enjoyed our meals, The proximity to the lake was a real highlight!
Very nice property, but the decor felt a bit dated, That said, the amenities were great and the location was very convenient for beach access, We had a fun time exploring the area,
