These modern holiday homes are located in Menaam, an authentic Frisian town. Behind a characteristic farm you will find
"recreation in the garden", with beautifully landscaped camper pitches and these two beautiful holiday homes. You look out over the beautiful Frisian landscape. These houses are located next to each other and are very suitable for 2 families traveling together.
The cottages can accommodate 5 guests each. There are 2 bedrooms per house, 1 with a double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The houses are tastefully decorated and have a luxurious kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning provides coolness in summer and warmth in winter.
From the houses you can immediately follow beautiful walking and cycling routes in the surrounding area, but a visit to the Eleven Cities towns such as Franeker and Harlingen are also very worthwhile.
In the evening you can relax on the terrace while enjoying a snack and a drink. You can rent these houses separately via Belvilla house codes NL-9036-10 and NL-9036-11.

Schoon, ruim en goed gelegen, De kinderen hebben zich geweldig vermaakt in de tuin, en wij waardeerden de nabijheid van de lokale eetgelegenheden, Het Black Horse restaurant in de buurt was een van onze favorieten voor het diner, We zullen zeker overwegen om terug te komen voor een nieuw verblijf!
The location is ideal for exploring the nearby towns like Franeker and Harlingen, The homes are modern and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that made meal prep easy, We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace after a day of cycling through the beautiful scenery, Overall, a solid choice for a family vacation
Overall, a pleasant experience, The holiday homes are well-equipped with modern amenities, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days, We took advantage of the walking and cycling routes nearby, The only downside was that we wished we could have stayed longer to explore more of the Frisian countryside
The communication was outstanding, Peter was a fantastic host, Even though we checked in late, he was prepared and waiting to hand us the keys, show us to our accommodation, and provide any needed information and instructions despite the late hour, We asked for a coffee maker, and Peter delivered it the next morning! The accommodation fully met all our requirements, The beds were incredibly comfortable, and even in Winter, we felt warm and cozy throughout our stay, We were two families of four, and the property offered two 2-bedroom cabins in close proximity, allowing us to keep a bit of independence, The location is excellent for exploring Friesland – such a lovely part of the Netherlands that is often overlooked, I highly recommend this property, You won’t be disappointed! Spacious and clean, these holiday homes provided a great base for our stay in Menaam, The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot days, and the garden was perfect for our evening barbecues, Just a short drive to local attractions, which was a plus, Would stay again, but wish there were more dining options nearby
Tout était juste parfait pour notre séjour, Les maisons étaient bien entretenues et les propriétaires étaient très accueillants, Nous avons apprécié les petites touches dans la décoration et le fait que tout était propre et prêt à notre arrivée, Les enfants ont profité du terrain de jeu à proximité, et nous avons passé un bon moment à faire du vélo dans les environs
