This 8-bedroom holiday home in Zorge comes with a private garden, sitting room, and living-dining room and is perfect for a large group of 20 or multiple families with children to enjoy.
Experience the scenic nature from the South Harz Nature Park and the surrounding forests. You can have a wonderful time hiking especially on the Harzer BaudenSteig. The Braunlage's ski area is at 15 minutes to have fun during winter. You can explore the historic towns Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg, and the Iberg Dripstone Cave. There is a supermarket at 4 km to do your shopping. Restaurants can be found at 1 km to try the local cuisine.
After an exciting day, you can relax indoors. There is a TV in the living-dining room to spend time. The kitchen with modern amenities is perfect to cook dinner. You can bring 2 pets. Let the fresh air relax you in the evening from the garden. A cot is provided for the kids.

The house is very old, which in itself is not a problem. Although we have previously phoned the specified contact and pointed out a negative review that was written 4 weeks before our vacation and also described the following shortcomings, the gentleman said on Telephone that there were guests who had previously devastated the house and he had received feedback from the owner that the deficiencies had been remedied. Apparently they only cleaned up after the last guests, but no defects were fixed. Not everything works: There is no light in 2 bedrooms. Only one stove of a total of 8 works. The strips from the carpet in the hallway are loose (risk of stumbling). The roofing in the entrance area is temporarily supported with a beam (risk of collapse). Metal strips protrude from under the tables. These are supposed to hold the tables together, which is really dangerous for small children, as it is at head height. In the large bathroom it stinks, think the drain is damaged. In addition, we were told that we were "illegally" there. The visitor's tax was billed by Belvilla but we did not have any receipt for it. At the tourist center we were told that no one was paid for this house.
It was extremely dirty, the existing dishwasher and dryer were not functional, the baby bed mattress was abnormal (full of stains, incredibly ranty), the ceramic hob only works sporadically, the carpets in the hallway are partly not attached (extremely dangerous on the wooden floor, of course) , the door lock is hooked, the electrical installation is dangerous, there seems to be mold under the wallpaper in the washroom, the water in the shower and bathtub suddenly becomes boiling hot, the light in several bedrooms does not work, there is a lot of storage in some rooms and in the basement of garbage (paint and other harmful things), the garbage can and the garage were full of garbage and glass garbage. To make matters worse, we found a joint while packing our bags and cleaning up on the last day. Fortunately, we found this one and not the children. This house is unreasonable.

Optimally solved for a larger group: bedroom on several floors, living and dining area on the ground floor.
Very pleasant, our neighbors were very accommodating and did not let our volume disturb us ...
The area has many destinations. We were with 16 people u. 1Hund over the turn of the year 2018/2019 (7Days) in the house.Beddescription urgently needs to be revised! Sofa bed max. 1 person, more French beds, as double beds. The upper floors should be urgently renovated, since in the 2nd floor already the wallpaper from the wall dissolves. In the single room is in the corner of the installation a hole in the floor (about 15x15cm large) and it is only accessible via a 2 bed room. Wardrobes are completely missing in 4 rooms, the cupboards in the other rooms were occupied or locked with duvets etc. A possibility for 16 persons shower resp. Towels were also missing. In the winter to dry damp or wet clothes of 16 people was a challenge. The carpet on the stairs and on the 1st floor developed continuously to the flying carpet. For 16 people and longer stay this house in our opinion, unsuitable in the present condition !!!
