A cozy log cabin in a peaceful location, surrounded by forest and field landscapes. The nearest neighbor is approx. 100 meters away. Located 80 km northeast of Kuopio, the River Keyritynjoki/Karinjoki is just 350 meters away, although the cabin has no own beach. A rowing boat is shared with the owner, and its use must be agreed upon in advance. The log cabin, built in 1985, features a living room/kitchen with a sofa set, TV, fireplace, and an air source heat pump for heating and cooling. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dining group for six people. The cabin has one bedroom with a double bed and a separate storage space with a curtain, which also includes a work desk. From the living room, a ladder leads to a sleeping loft, which has three beds with box springs. The wood-heated sauna includes a shower, WC, and washing machine in the washroom. The cabin also features a glazed porch with a seating area and a gas grill, as well as a small covered porch with a table and two chairs. A woodshed is located in the yard building. An electric vehicle can be charged from a standard electrical outlet for an additional fee, which can be selected as an extra service when booking. The gently sloping plot is mainly covered with grass and gravel. The village hall 150 m (Frisbee golf baskets, beach volleyball court, football field, and grill hut). Tiilikkajärvi National Park 46 km, Tahko Ski Resort 42 km, Bomba 65 km, Lastukoski village 20 km (boat ramp, swimming beach, and grill hut). Pisa Conservation Area 20 km. Metsäkartano Youth Centre 53 km. The Ylä-Luosta Café 20 km (address: Ylä-Luostantie 1070, Ylä-Luosta). The café serves as a starting point for three different snowmobile trails: Tahko trail, Nurmes trail, and a local club trail. A permit for the local club trail can be purchased at the café. The café is open seasonally during the summer and on weekends in late winter or early spring.
