Description
Located in Roes, this holiday home with 2 bedrooms is set near beautiful forest. It offers a paid sauna, terrace, and barbecue and is ideal for a family of 4 to stay.
The place is famous for "Traumpfade + -pfädchen", natural streams, the Moselle and mysterious castles. Close to the Maare and the Nürburgring and the most beautiful suspension bridge in Germany, the "Geierlay" (about 30 minutes by car). In about 1 hour you reach the oldest city in Germany, Trier, on the Luxembourg border. You can reach Koblenz in half an hour, where the German Rhine and the German Mosel flow together.
We offer you a lovingly restored farmhouse of approx. 60 m² dating from the 18th century for a wonderful vacation. In the open kitchen, you will find all the necessary comforts, including a ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower and a small bathtub.The ground floor is equipped with underfloor heating.The bedrooms are accessible via a steep, open staircase (please note - not suitable for disabled or small children). Upstairs a separate bedroom with a double bed and an open bedroom with two single beds. In the courtyard, you can enjoy the sun and relax.
The sauna is available from mid-April.

This was the second time we were in the cute little house. As always, everything was great and the location offers the best conditions for various hikes in the Eifel and Hunsrück.
The house is not large, but it offers enough space for a small family or, as in our case, even for two couples. Everything is beautifully renovated and modernized without losing the unique flair of an old farm building on the route. The guest notices a lot of lovingly made details that could only come from good taste and a lot of designer imagination. The inner courtyard facing the sun, sheltered from the street, is cozy, where you can have breakfast or even party. It also offers enough space for a car. You should be mobile, however, as there is no baker in the village! The church opposite offers a beautiful view and rings only once a day, it does not bother. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
We are with our son of 9 years a week in the house stayed in December. Contact with the owner was pleasant. Quarter before arrival we sent him a message. When we arrived he had opened the gate and briefly showed the house and sauna. Cottage is beautiful. Small is beautiful. It all looks well cared for. We also love the Eifel. Several walks done in the area. Often by car. Café Roeschen is very nice to go and eat delicious cake. Also worth a visit and not far away is Monreal. Beautiful town too. Handy to know, there are several crates in the shed where you can separate your waste. PMD too. We only found out halfway through the week. If we had questions we could appten the owner and he always responded quickly.
Very clean house. Very romantic, cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately, the village itself has no cozy restaurant or bakery.
