Very nice apartment, equipped with everything you need. Nice environment. Very nice landlord. We found it so nice that we extended our stay by 3 days. We would like to come again.
Upon arrival a dirty house found. Wardrobes full of dust, hair, and remains of the predecessors. Kitchen all sticky, microwave downright filthy, various food remnants and circles in the kitchen cupboards. Microwave turntable does not work anymore and if you want to set the power the button will fall off. Toilet does not seem cleaned, in the bed are different hairs, according to the landlord of the cleaning lady ...? Clearly shows traces of long-term poor cleaning. At the landlord insisted on immediate cleaning, which resulted in a quarrelsome conversation about what the expectations should actually be. The main argument of landlord was cheap, Hollanders always nag and houses in Holland are much dirtier. After insisting on our part, the landlord cleaned the microwave and two cabinets. We have done the rest ourselves. In the house you constantly hear the child from the upstairs neighbors running around. Outside on the terrace you hear the child (and the mother) screaming constantly. Despite the cottage we have pleasant walks and holidays.
Beautiful cottage. Deliciously spacious It's a shame that the bushes take away the view when you're in the garden. On the upper floor, other people were living / staying. Here you especially have savons, some noise. Especially because you heard them very well. Beautiful surroundings. Nice villages nearby and wonderfully quiet. We had a nice tijs.
The cottage is fine, fairly modern, good beds and a nice kitchen. Hot water shower regulation is not optimal, just too hot or just too cold. The only thing that falls apart is that the upstairs house is also a rented property. We were afraid that there was an Eastern European working couple hired with a young child. We had noise and noise. The top floor has a balcony downstairs as soon as you use the garden. Despite a large garden behind the house (where the upper neighbors could use) the upper neighbors chose to call and smoke the balcony, which meant that we could not use a small garden in front of the apartment.
On arrival the owner was not present, after we have phoned she was 15 minutes.The house as they appear on the site. Negatives were the thermostatic valves in the bathroom that did not goed.Mooie and peaceful surroundings in a small and quiet village. Shops and restaurants you have to go to a big city like Homburg.
