A log cabin on the riverbank of Kärenkoski rapid on the Vaikkojoki. Excellent for stargazing on the glazed terrace. 70 km east of Kuopio. Lake Vihtajärvi 20 m (length 4 km, breadth 1 km), opposite shore 100 m, deep water, firm gravel bottom. Pier, own boat. L og cabin 1993, living room/kitchen with 2 extra beds, bedroom with 2 beds, dressing room, sauna, open veranda. Access to WC and Sauna through veranda. A wood fired outside hot tub for rent for 6 people all year round. The availability of the tub must be checked in advance (rented between several cottages). The rent of the tub will be paid to the owner. Possibility to charge an electric car for an additional fee at the reception. Campfire and charcoal grill (the customer brings the coals), also two barbecue huts in shared use by the cottages in the area.
