Description
Welcome on top of the Kraaiberg, in Ploegsteert, Belgium! This holiday home is equipped with box springs (Magnitude Luxury Bedding), bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen with large table and free WiFi. You also have a furnished south-facing terrace with a barbecue and swing.
Here you are in the middle of a beautiful landscape that is ideal for extensive walking and cycling tours. It is not for nothing that this region has already been the backdrop for various Flemish television series. You will also find numerous monuments and sights that refer to both world wars.
An extra asset is the private bathhouse, which is located just next to the holiday home. You can rent space including a Finnish sauna, Oriental zone, tiled hammam and scrub corner for a minimum of 2.5 hours. It provides ample rejuvenation and a sprawling garden with furniture to unwind and experience the beauty of nature. Massages are also possible (please contact hostess Carla directly).
You can purchase groceries and other essentials from Spar at 3 km. Take day trips to the cities of Ieper at 12 km, Poperinge at 17 km and Bellewaerde at 15 km from your stay. The Plugstreet museum is only 6 km away while the Pool of Peace war memorial is just 3 km away. Scarpe-Escaut Regional Nature Park is nearly an hour’s drive away and is a must-visit with family and friends as you can witness rivers, hiking paths, wetlands and wildlife here.
Insert a barbecue during the evenings for a gala time with your loved ones. The dining room has a bar and the modular kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering. There are 3 parking places within the premises.

Dit vakantiehuis is uitgerust met alle benodigdheden, De sauna was een geweldige toevoeging, en we maakten goed gebruik van de barbecue op het terras, Het gebied is rijk aan geschiedenis, en we maakten een dagtrip naar Ieper, wat slechts een korte rit was
Ons verblijf in het Welcoming Holiday Home was niets minder dan heerlijk! De locatie op de top van Kraaiberg bood een prachtig uitzicht en was omgeven door natuur, perfect voor onze wandelingen, Het huis zelf was ruim en zeer goed uitgerust, vooral de keuken, die we graag gebruikten voor onze familiediners, De sauna en het bubbelbad waren fantastisch na een dag van verkenning van nabijgelegen attracties zoals het Plugstreet museum, Carla, de gastvrouw, was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en liet ons ons meteen thuis voelen, Sterk aanbevolen voor iedereen die wil ontspannen!
Ik hou absoluut van deze plek! Het privé-badehuis is een must-try, We hebben genoten van een massage die hemels was, De inrichting was charmant en liet ons ons meteen thuis voelen, Perfecte plek voor een gezinsuitje!
La propreté et le confort de la maison étaient excellents
So ein niedlicher Ort! Die Betten sind super bequem, und die Lage ist perfekt für Erkundungen in der Nähe, wie das Plugstreet-Museum, Ganz zu schweigen von dem Garten, der eine ganze Stimmung für ein paar Selfies ist, 10/10 würde für einen Wochenendausflug empfehlen
