You are in the green hills of the Val di Chio, just 15 km from Castiglion Fiorentino. The village is surrounded by nature, which means that you can take beautiful walks here.
A careful renovation has brought La Casa del NOno to life again. The house has a rustic style, old beams on the ceiling and a cosy fireplace. All this contributes to a warm and intimate atmosphere. The front of the house is surrounded by a garden and has garden furniture, a barbecue and a small house with laundry. The beautiful swimming pool (6m x 4m, depth 1.20 m) with sunbeds and a parasol is exclusive to guests.

Good house but remote. Beautifully situated between the hills. Real an authentic old house. Nice pool. Extremely quiet. Large supermarket in Castiglion Fiorentino is NOT within 5 km but a 20 minute drive. Fairly clean but there is room for improvement. The water from the taps stank but you can smell that smell in the whole area and it could also be because we were there during a time of drought. Beautiful surroundings and beautiful places in the area. Recommended are Cortona (where the American writer Frances Mayes - Under the Tuscan Sun) has a house and Arezzo, where scenes from films such as La Vita e Bella and the English Patient were shot. The reception by the homeowner was excellent. WiFi was available. Cell phone reception was minimal.
Overall, a solid choice for a family holiday, The location was convenient, and we made some great memories here, Would recommend for anyone looking to unwind!
Everything was lovely! The hosts were friendly and the check-in process was smooth, The beach was just a short walk away, perfect for our children to play,
We verbleven hier met onze hond en hadden niet gelukkiger kunnen zijn. Het huisdiervriendelijke beleid was een groot pluspunt en de ruime tuin bood onze harige vriend de mogelijkheid om vrij rond te rennen. De villa zelf was schoon en comfortabel.
De locatie was ideaal voor onze gezinsvakantie, We genoten van nabijgelegen restaurants zoals Den Gamle Told, dat op korte loopafstand was, Het huis zelf was comfortabel, maar we hadden graag nog een paar handdoeken gehad,
Een ruim huis met alles wat je nodig hebt, We genoten van het uitzicht op de tuin vanaf het terras, en de Wi-Fi was een pluspunt om verbonden te blijven, Over het algemeen een zeer comfortabel verblijf, hoewel we wel meer keukengerei wensten,
