Exquisite Villa in Beaufort with Swimming Pool
Description
Located in Beaufort, this exquisite villa is perfect for a weekend getaway. It can accommodate up to 6 adults, 2 childrens and has 3 bedrooms. It has a swimming pool with sun loungers for you to sit back and relax after a long day.
The nearest restaurants are 450 m and the local grocery store are only 2 km from the mansion. The lake is also 3 km from the villa. Pyrenees is nearby to try skiing in winter and Barcelona is a short drive away.
A private terrace is accessible for you to enjoy a glass of wine with your dear ones. Play equipment is available in the villa on request. An air conditioning and heating are available in the premises for a comfortable stay. Boules court is accessible for recreational purposes. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed to stay for an extra cost of 25/pet/night.
The guests can check-in from 4-11 PM and check-out can be done from 8-9 AM.

Wat een heerlijke plek!
Heerlijk huis met prachtig uitzicht. Het huis zelf is wat gedateerd, maar alles werkt. Goede bedden, lekker zwembad en wat ook erg fijn is, is dat je de auto overdekt kan parkeren. Wij komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug.
First the good points, the house has a fantastic location with a beautiful view over the vineyards, you can cool down in the large swimming pool. There is plenty to see and do in the area. Unfortunately, we have less positive experiences with the house. Firstly, the house is full of cracks, because of this many tiles have sharp edges and you can easily open your feet (we speak from experience). During a heavy rain shower we had a leak in the kitchen, the water came through the roof/ceiling. The house would be suitable for 6 to 8 people, but all seats are designed for no more than 6 people, in addition, the kitchen and in particular the cooking options are insufficient for 6 people, the oven is far too small for 6 people, a single pizza will fit not in. We had seen a jacuzzi and playset in the photos when booking, but both were not present when we arrived! With dogs, please note that the garden is not closed. In short, the house needs the necessary TLC!! Most disturbingly, a number of defects were reported on arrival that were not fixed during our three week stay, a loose socket in the children's room is a serious safety risk, and not having a working smoke detector even life-threatening. Even more emphasized by the fire of the house across the street, which was completely destroyed during our stay.
The location is beautiful. The house and the surrounding area could use some renovations. Otherwise we like it very much here.

The accommodation was spacious and neat but urgently in need of a thorough refurbishment, both inside and outside. The kitchen, such as pots and pans, should also be replaced. The surroundings were beautiful, beautiful villages, beautiful views, etc.
