Beautiful, one-of its kind home with a sauna
Description
If you fancy spending your holiday in a unique place, then this farmhouse in Durbuy which is distinct and attractive is an apt choice. There are 3 bedrooms to house 7, making it ideal for a large family. There is a sauna facility to heal the tired souls and a terrace and garden (shared) to enjoy the outdoors.
There is a forest, 1 km away, where you can go for walks. The buzzing town centre of Wéris, 2 km away can be visited for shopping or enjoying meals.
The centrally heated farmhouse has a spacious hallway where you'll see a wood-burning stove shaped like an engine block and the space around it is carved out like a cave. This theme continues up the stairs that wind upwards like rocky steps. In the living room there's a stairway made of a tree trunk, and the whole property has been done in similar fashion, while providing all comforts. Barbecue, boules court and parking are other available facilities.
Barvaux train station is the nearest, 7 km away.

Very nice holiday home clean friendly greeting very good
What a nice and special house. We will definitely book this "cave house" again. Had a very relaxing midweek. Owners very friendly and explained a lot about the house. Enjoy the sauna, the balcony, everything is great!

Unique, almost completely self-built holiday home in an ideal location. All facilities available that you could wish for. Spacious garden and terrace. Absolutely recommended!
Everything was good and fine. We enjoyed with our 4 kids aged 8, 8, 11 and 14 years. Durbuy adventure valley was especially popular here. Cottage was clean and well-kept, friendly welcome by the owners.
Upon entering the cottage you can see a wooden sign with "Most unique holiday home of 2017" on it, but in our opinion that still applies for 2022. The owners have done their utmost to make it a special experience and that it worked. The photos of the cottage are nice to see but do not do justice to the experience on site. In particular, the few photos of the garden do not reflect reality; It is en. really very nicely laid out and gives a lot of space to enjoy. We would like to come back here!
