This luxurious 11-bedroom holiday home is near the town centre in Malmedy and can accommodate 22 people. It has spacious bedrooms, a private swimming pool for enjoying a splash, and wellness equipment like a sauna for people of all ages, offering a perfectly relaxing vacation.
Despite the indoor pool, a visit to the open-air swimming pool of Malmedy is highly recommended at only 500 m away. You can also go for long walks or take cycling up High fens, a cycling excursion along mapped routes or enjoy a tasty meal on the market square in Malmedy. There is the F1 Francorchamps only 10 min away from the house and a bit farther is the lovely town of Spa with its thermal baths with a rejuvenating experience. Both restaurants and general supplies can be found only 5 km away.
This holiday home also has free WiFi, fenced terrace and a private garden complete with furniture and barbecue for enjoying with some delicious food on the table. Parking for 6 is available on the premises.
For reasons of tranquillity, this house will not be rented to groups of young people under the age of 25. The organisation of student parties, bachelor parties and drinking parties in this house is forbidden.

The house looked very tired and in need of redecoration. The bannister was extremely loose when we arrived and dangerous, especially with young children in our group, the timing of the lights was such that we were unable to complete a flight of stairs before they went off. Both of these aspects were attended to very quickly. One of the rooms was closed off to us as it had developed a leak. the area where the washing machine was housed also had a leak. My daughter cut her forehead on a broken shower head. there should be warnings about how extremely hot the water gets as my grandson was slightly scalded when he was in the shower. the garden was not maintained and we hardly spent any time out there as we found some dead mice. when we arrived there was no parking space for any of our cars as these had been taken up by neighbours and campers. Apart from the foregoing, there was certainly enough for us as a family to keep us occupied and more than sufficient cutlery/chinaware/glasses, etc.
Both jacuzzi and pool water quality far below par. All children have earaches and some adults have skin complaints. Lost deposit as the energy costs came to 1500 euros. Complaints about pool and jacuzzi quality not handled properly.
On arrival Friday, the heating turned out to be not working: a technician managed to get the fuel oil boiler working again, but by Saturday morning the heating had already broken down. The consequence was that there was also no hot water and that too the pool had become very cool. The technician came back and got the boiler working again, but in the meantime an oil smell started to fill the relaxation room and the pool - also a strong smell came from the basement that started to fill the stairwell - black smoke came out of the chimney, which also caused an unpleasant smell on the street: and on Sunday morning everything was malfunctioning again - in other words our whole family has suffered 2 days of cold and can only wash with cold water - I therefore demand a substantial compensation to compensate for this fiasco . In addition, the bill of consumption shows 389 € for fuel oil: I certainly refuse to pay it, it cannot possibly be correct!
The house is spacious and complete and plenty of entertainment inside (and the kitchen very complete and pleasant), but in total very dated. Leaks after showering on the ground floor and first floor. The bedrooms are very noisy. The sauna does not heat up properly. In our opinion, the costs are far too high for what you get in return. Especially if after the stay also eur 550 energy costs must be paid (for 10 persons = 6 bedrooms).
It is a beautiful house, it is spacious enough for the amount of people. Some old / overdue maintenance (handrail very wobbly, jacuzzi streamers no longer run smoothly). It's a shame it's not really inviting to sit outside as a large tree/bush takes out all the afternoon sun. It was just a perfect week to drink a well-deserved beer on the terrace by the pool after a long walk. There is also a less fresh-smelling air from the toilet room that is located in the basement. This air moves up into the hall in gusts. In general, the house was clean. The kitchen is equipped with sufficient equipment, crockery and cutlery. The double oven / stove and large refrigerator were very nice to have. The beautiful bar with sufficient glassware and several cooling rooms is also very pleasant for a large group.
A nice holiday home for a large group with children. Well located on a busy road. Reception was very friendly. Our stay was in December, so energy costs were quite high.
