The pools utilize a facial-recognition entry system; to use it, log into "My Scheldeoord" after booking, list your travel group, and upload a selfie for each member to gain instant entry.
The surrounding Zeeland landscape of islands and salt marshes is ideal for coastal walks, cycling, spotting seals on sandbanks, or fishing. Nearby highlights include the Goes Railway Museum, a butterfly garden in Kwadendamme (8 km), and the De Poel nature reserve with its traditional sheepfold (11 km) between Nisse and Ovezande.
