We were very warmly welcomed by the owners of this house. Our large dog was also very welcome. The house was spotless. The house has been very nicely renovated/restored. The furnishings match the house perfectly. We actually only used the ground floor, as there is now also a comfortable bathroom there. The bed was wonderful. The garden is very pleasant to stay in, but also the outdoor meadow is very nice if you are with a dog or children. Made full use of the wonderful jacuzzi. Owners speak Dutch and are easy to reach and very helpful. Complete privacy in the house and garden with jacuzzi. Buitenweide is well fenced, hence a view of neighbors but who live at a very large distance. Our dog enjoyed the lovely garden where he could safely roam around to his heart's content and occasionally take a dip in his dog bath. Wonderfully quiet location in beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
We continue to be amazed at how beautiful this house is: the materials with which it has been restored, the tasteful decor, the comfort. Everything has been thought of and every day we find small details that radiate the love of the owners for the house and the environment (built-in bird houses in the fence!). The reception was also very cordial with special attention to our dogs. Here dogs are not only tolerated but pampered! The area is beautiful and what you expect from the Dordogne: peace, nature and the occasional red deer on the side of the road. Tourism is even less prevalent here than in some other parts of the Dordogne, which makes it feel like an oasis. In short: we feel like God here in France every day.

What a lovely house this is! Quietly located and nicely furnished. Both the courtyard and the playground are very pleasant to stay. The house is really dog friendly with a well finished garden and all kinds of stuff for the dog. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners. The house was also very clean and comfortable. Overall, we had a lovely time and would love to come back!
