Nearby are fine 18-hole golf courses, such as the chic St Endréol near La Motte. For water sports, head to the famous Gorges du Verdon; Europe's 'Grand Canyon'. Hire a canoe and admire the metres-high, rugged cliffs and relax on the lovely river beaches. A little closer is the swimming lake Lac st. Cassien. On the way back, stock up on bottles of wine at the famous wine estates in the area. The homeowner is sure to give you some 'secret' tips! Within an hour you are at that beautiful, azure Mediterranean Sea and the seaside resorts of Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël. Supermarket and bakery in Bargemon.
