Everything went very well from our arrival until we left. Comfortable and quiet accommodation. Serene and relaxing environment.
The house is well designed and well furnished. The access is very easy, the place is well located as close to Wimereux and the sea. Very quiet ...
Upon arrival we had to search for the person from whom we received the key. There is no reception and the key lady speaks only French. Fortunately, we had received her phone number from Belvilla. We received extensive explanations about the apartment and about the important places in the neighborhood. The apartment is fully equipped. There is even an Ikea high chair and camp bed available. Kitchen appliances too. Everything is there. With a family with two children who fit into a 'big' bed it is ideal. The bunk bed in the hallway is fine for that. We have put the camp bed in the bedroom, but that does not sleep as relaxed as your child sleeps wildly. It was quiet at the holiday park. Many houses are privately owned (hence there is no reception). Although you are reasonably close to the neighbors, you hear and see little of each other. There is a playground and tennis court at the park. The beach is not that far, but still a fifteen minute walk. We had a view of the sea when we stood on a chair) The nearest beach is very quiet and very wide. Because it only runs very slowly, the difference between ebb and flood is large. There is a large piece of shallow sea. Also ideal for children. Furthermore, there are no facilities on the beach. The beach in the village is a lot busier, but of course you have restaurants and a boulevard.
We were half an hour early but that was not a problem. The key can also operate the park's automatic lever. So no hassle with codes. The apartment was neat and equipped with all the comforts Unfortunately, the apartment was so located that the view was not optimal. View of the other apartments. No sea view or view of the hills from the living room. Furthermore, there was little privacy. We were lucky that most of the apartments were not occupied. If you were occupied, you are far too close to the neighbors. Due to its proximity to the golf course, village and busy road, walking possibilities were right from the apartment. Actually, only one possibility, but you have to go through a blurred path and a bit along a busy road. There are many nice walks possible by car. Boulogne is more worthwhile. Wimerieux is currently completely broken open (roadworks). We have to wait until 1015 until we could deliver the key.
Beautiful clean accommodation and great surroundings (but an active holiday environment).
Beautiful sea view, neat apartment. Too small for 6 people but for a family with two young children ample.
