Description
Simple holiday home in a beautiful location in the area between the rivers Lot and Garonne, not far from Villeneuve sur Lot, Agen and Cahors: the Quercy Blanc. The area is green and features rolling hills and ancient villages with an abundance of culture and history.
On the edge of the village of Touffailles, against a hill, you will find this bright, 2-storey gite. Downstairs, you will find the bathroom and bedrooms; upstairs, there is a spacious and bright living room with an open plan kitchen and a large terrace. Via a path (20 m) and a narrow staircase, you can reach the large swimming pool, overlooking the valley. There is a large covered awning with a summer kitchen and plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy during the evening.
The English owner lives nearby, but will ensure your complete privacy and is available for all your questions.
During the summer months, each village has its own festivities and there are many night markets where you can enjoy the local delicacies while sitting at long tables. Have a good glass of Cahors wine with it, and enjoy everything that passes you by.
This is a good area for cycling, but you can also go canoeing or walking.
Baby equipment is available at the accommodation (on request). To name a few: high chair, baby bath, travel cot, pram and baby potty. All of which are certainly suitable for a stay with a small child.

Very well received by the owner. Beautiful house where everything is there for a nice stay. The pool and the beautiful view are great! During your stay the owner is always ready for you.
Dear Belvilla organization, Please pay attention to the following and would like to propose a solution for this. We wonder whether the villas you rent out are ever visited by the organization or checked for hygiene, cleanliness, functioning of the equipment, etc. etc. a row of the identified defects: Extractor hood does not work. Shower almost unusable due to worn shower head and clamp. Whole house full of vermin, spiders, beetles, ants (kitchen). Rickety stairs where almost no shopping bag or the like. by coming up; screens are old and rotten everywhere, just like the kitchen door, front door, the mats, etc. Bedrooms, shower cubicle, toilet with separate toilet seat downstairs in "basement" where it is damp and clammy. We both slept in the two single beds with major consequences ; both bodies, legs, shoulders, knees. Full of red spots, bites and infections from vermin in the beds. (Bed bugs!!) We had to buy cream and other things at the pharmacy in a village further to get rid of the red spots and bites, what now write, only slowly starts to pass. The roof at the pool is dirty, old wooden furniture with dirty pillows that the owner's cats also sleep on… We read that pets are not allowed, but we read in reviews that the dogs can come along. We have to keep the doors closed because otherwise the owner's cats will walk in. BBQ at the house and pool still in "winter packaging and too dirty to handle and not ready for use as you might expect. We spent 1 week there and went to another holiday address on Tuesday, June 13, which cost us extra money. The rent for 2 weeks in this "villa" was 1904,00 an outrageous amount in view of the above. of reality.
