Spacious apartment in the Bavarian Forest
Description
This spacious and modern holiday home is on the first floor of a house in Wiesing, about 7 kilometres from Viechtach in the Bavarian Forest. The large balcony offers a magnificent view of the mountains between Käsplatte and Hirschenstein. The proximity to the forest ensures rest and relaxation. Thanks to the well-marked hiking trails, you can easily experience the beauty of the Bavarian Forest's nature and mountains. In winter, if there's enough snow, there are well-groomed cross-country ski runs in the immediate vicinity (50 metres) of the apartment. But there are still downhill slopes only 5 or 9 kilometres away. The Bavarian Forest offers unadulterated fun away from the tourist strongholds at any time of the year. Excursions in the surrounding area include: Viechtach, rail trail in Regental, Churpfalzpark Loifling, Bodenmais, summer toboggan run and Waldwipfelweg St. Englmar, Großer Arber, Bavarian Forest National Park with animal enclosure, Pullman City in Eging am See, excursions to nearby Czech Republic.

There were four of us in June 2021 for a week in the Favorite Place apartment. Goods were very satisfied. The apartment is spacious, modern and lovingly decorated. We found it particularly great that there was a washbasin in each of the three bedrooms. We have already been to a large number of apartments - but none has been so well equipped. More than enough towels and toilet paper. Egg cooker, electric whisk, baking paper for the oven, filter bags for the coffee machine, spices, etc. There was even a separate cooling compartment with an ice cube form and cooling pack for on the go. Soap, shower gel and dishwasher detergent were plentiful. We particularly liked the rain shower and the underfloor heating in the bathroom. The landlords were very friendly and accommodating. We are very happy to go back there.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, We loved the local attractions, especially the summer toboggan run, which was a hit with the kids,

Kortom, een geweldig verblijf! Het appartement is goed gelegen, dicht bij het strand en de lokale parken. De woonkamer was ruim genoeg voor ons gezin van vier en de keuken was volledig uitgerust. Een oase van rust na een dagje sightseeing.
