This very spacious holiday home is exclusively for German and Dutch speakers in the historic town of Hallenberg is the ideal accommodation for larger groups or two families. It has 5 very spacious bedrooms and a large and excellently equipped kitchen. Furthermore, there is a spacious garden and a play barn with a table tennis table and swing. In addition, there is more play equipment for children in the garden.
This house is located in the village of Liesen in beautiful mountainous surroundings and just under 3 km from Hallenberg, where you will find all necessary facilities such as restaurants, supermarkets, a pharmacy and a bank. The detached holiday home is the right address for winter sports enthusiasts as well as for summer holidaymakers. The cross-country skiing area Pastorenwiese is only 200 m away from the house, and there are further winter sports facilities in Winterberg, 12 km away with (50 km of slopes (20km in Winterberg), of which 28 slopes are snow-covered, 60 ski lifts (altitude 639-809 m). In summer, the surrounding area is perfect for hiking or cycling tours, the Diemelsee, 30 km away, attracts with numerous water sports offers.
Prepare a sizzling platter of barbecue for your dear ones which can enjoy it at the garden or terrace. To keep you cozy central heating is in place as well. There is a carport and parking are available on the property. The basement has billiards, table tennis and table football available for the guests.
The check-in time for the apartment is 4-7 PM and checkout time is 8-9 AM.

The house offers a lot of space, the various accommodation options are great, even for larger travel groups (inside and outside). A large lawn offers space for all kinds of activities. The additional cooling devices in the basement are useful. It's a pity that the many recreational opportunities such as table tennis, billiards, etc. are in shell-like rooms - which are so uncomfortable that we didn't use them. A room should be finished here - in which you then put all the devices. Overall, the house is very old - but clean.
The word "modern" in the opening words "Modern Holiday Home" is out of place, it is a fairly dated house with very mediocre beds. It is a large house in which everything is present, but of the 3 baking pans present, 2 are completely worn , the non-stick coating is coming off, which is very dangerous. The cleaning was lousy, a dirty greasy floor in the kitchen and the flakes of dust were on the counter, also there were bugs on the right side of the wardrobe of the bedroom on the ground floor.
The arrival was good. The cottage is easy to find. The neighbor is the point of contact. He only speaks German and very fast so we didn't understand everything he said. Because we were informed of everything in advance by email (in Dutch), we actually already knew everything and it was all no problem. The cottage is very spacious and very well equipped. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only thing we missed is a garlic press. But otherwise everything is available. The rooms are spacious, beds are good. There are many games for children in the play room. And then there is also the arcade with table tennis. There is a lot of space to sit outside. Barbecuing is also no problem. There are several barbeques available for use. All in all, a very spacious and well-equipped house.
Beautiful surroundings, friendly people. Beautiful and well-equipped house (from kitchen to bicycle shed) Tasty beds too, so we could enjoy with 7 adults.
