There is also a private decked area with garden furniture, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the lovely views. Private parking is available for two cars, ensuring convenience for guests.
Ideally located close to the coastline and beaches, Minehead is known as "The Gateway to Exmoor," offering a variety of activities for all ages. The town is home to a historic harbour, fishing quarter, and a selection of tea rooms, pubs, and independent shops. The West Somerset Steam Railway terminates in Minehead, and the Exmoor Coaster, an open-top bus, operates in summer, providing scenic routes to nearby towns such as Lynmouth and Ilfracombe. For outdoor enthusiasts, the South West Coast Path starts in the town, and numerous walks over North Hill can be accessed directly from the cottage. Dunster Castle, a National Trust property, is located just a couple of miles away.
