Log cabin located within a cluster of four separate cabins next to the Porttikallio ski center. The "Mummolatu" trail, 2.5 km long, circles the cabin area and connects to the Porttikallio trail network. The ski center offers snowmaking for the trails when needed, a lit trail, and biathlon shooting targets. There is also a grill shelter available for all guests (200 m away) and a lookout tower and "fire shelter" along a guided educational nature trail 600 m away (firewood provided at the cabin). 170 km northwest of Helsinki. Dry land log cabin built in 2011, with a combined kitchen/living room, one bedroom with two beds, a bathroom with a shower and eco-toilet, and an infrared sauna (with various settings and a radio). There is a loft with a sloped ceiling (maximum height 155 cm) containing three mattresses.
