Top accommodation location everything was top arranged
After about 50km from the highway through a fairly remote area to have driven over rural roads, we finally arrived at this beautiful house with its own beautiful pool. Because of the heavily disappointing weather we could not use it. Fortunately, there was a nice fireplace in the house that we used every day. Great beds and everything else clean. Owners do not speak a letter across the border so that remains difficult in France. In Italy and Spain people are always willing to make an effort to meet the tourist in English. At least that is our experience. No major disaster or anything but typical of the French I generally find. Furthermore beautiful area with ancient villages but very remote location.
Had a fantastic stay. Friendly received from the owner. Just come to rest for a week. Children played a lot in the time garden. Pool was just too cold but that did not spoil the fun. You are dependent on the car. There are plenty of castles in the area. Definitely worth staying here.
Beautiful cottage in a quiet place where you can enjoy nature. The administrators speak French. But with hands and feet you get it. Nice pool at the cottage only a lot of bugs on and around cottage and so in the pool too. Shops, etc are not close by, and you can enjoy beautiful monuments from Besse after driving.
A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. An absolute must for anyone who loves peace and nature. Every morning and evening we could see the deer from our terrace. Rocamadour, Domme, Cazals, Belves ... are definitely worth a visit, but everything is at least half an hour away. Also shops, bakery, restaurants ... are a long way away. The location is therefore both an advantage and a disadvantage (distance). The swimming pool, the terrace and the garden are the cherry on the cake, especially in beautiful weather like we have had.
