Description
This air-conditioned holiday home in the pretty village of Saint-Maximin has a private swimming pool and a superb terrace. It's perfect for a couple's holiday exploring the Gard region.
Spacious and bright, decorated in Provencal colours, it is adjoining the owners' house, but does not overlook your terrace. It also has a barbecue and plenty of privacy.
Saint-Maximin is a picturesque village built on a hill far from the main roads, overlooking the valley and offering pleasant walks through its narrow streets and shady squares.
You'll be between the magnificent medieval town of Uzès (4 km), famous for its Saturday market, and the Pont du Gard (10 km), a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Visit the Musée du Bonbon 2.5km away for some sweet discoveries. Go cycling on the many greenways, which run through breathtaking scenery. Take an hour to reach the beaches of the Mediterranean, crossing the wild Camargue for some water-based fun. There are several outstanding gardens to visit, including the Bambouseraie at Générargues. In Collias (7 km), you can hire a canoe on the Gardon river.
Please note that only regular swimwear will be accepted in the pool.

Our stay at this lovely holiday home was simply magical! The private pool was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful Gard region, We especially loved the terrace, where we spent evenings barbecuing and enjoying the serene views, The location is ideal, just a short drive to both Uzès and the stunning Pont du Gard, Highly recommend for couples seeking a romantic getaway!
The holiday home was quite spacious and well-equipped for our needs, We enjoyed the privacy of the terrace and the tranquility of Saint-Maximin, It’s a great base for day trips, especially if you're into cycling or scenic walks, Everything was clean and comfortable
Absolutely loved our time here! The location is stunning with beautiful views and nature walks right at your doorstep, The hot tub was a lovely addition to our evenings, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals after visiting the local market in Uzès, I highly recommend this place for couples looking for a romantic escape, Can't wait to return!

This place is a gem! Spacious and bright, really felt like a home away from home, The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up meals, The location is ideal for visiting the Pont du Gard and Uzès, which we did on different days, Would definitely come back!

La piscine privée était une fantastique échappatoire après de longues journées d'exploration du Pont du Gard voisin et de la ville médiévale d'Uzès, La terrasse était parfaite pour les barbecues du soir, et nous avons apprécié la décoration provençale chaleureuse qui nous a fait sentir chez nous, Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants, s'assurant que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin, Dans l'ensemble, une retraite paisible dans un village pittoresque !
