A really special house! Extremely chic and tastefully furnished inside, mattresses and bathrooms of the finest quality, every room beautifully furnished with designer furniture, designer lamps, the photos don't promise too much. Huge new TVs. Outside, however, the garden and terrace are completely neglected, there is almost no garden furniture, the pool was broken the whole time (losing water) and full of mold, and directly opposite the house - about three meters away - there is a huge, half-dilapidated building ruin, uninhabited and sad to look at. In addition, although it was beautiful inside, it was also a bit dirty (greasy floors on arrival, garbage not emptied, leftover food in the fridge). We didn't complain because the price was still okay, but we wouldn't book it again.
Beautiful architecture, good facilities, unfortunately a lack of cleanliness and maintenance Beautiful, huge holiday home between Alès, Uzès, Anduze and Nimes. Extravagant tiled floors, beautiful orangery. You feel like you're in a manor house. Good facilities, interesting art, large garden. But: The holiday home is on the only access road to a concrete factory. From 6.30 a.m. onwards, cement mixers and semi-trailers with bulk goods circle non-stop through the narrow passageway. When two trucks meet, they reverse - beep beep... Sleeping in can be difficult. Superficial cleaning. Dust nests in the corners. Above eye level, dust threads and cobwebs including residents. In the end, we helped ourselves by cleaning ourselves. Neglected repairs: doors are stuck, windows (the house has really great windows) cannot be opened and/or are very dirty. Defects: oven, door locks, kitchen corner cupboard door, rain shower, shutter with 3 hinges only hangs on one, tub not attached, protective film remains, kitchen sink drain defective, pool cover is listlessly crumpled next to the pool, there is rubbish in the garden, the front garden, which used to be landscaped like a park, is only sparsely maintained and has evidently served as a dog toilet, fireplace cannot be used...etc. etc. The pool is not heated and loses 1-2 cubic metres of water per day. The guest has to manually add cold water. That is why the water is cold. Booked through fewo-direkt at Belvilla. We wouldn't do it like that again. Fewo-direkt couldn't even help with the deposit, which now has to be paid. We complained about the defects to the landlord. After studying the terms and conditions, Belvilla would have been the right choice. It's no use anyway. Who wants to live in a construction site on holiday? Or deal with such crap? Not us - ommmmm. Conclusion: You can like it, but you don't have to. PS: We are neither the landlord's caretakers nor their cleaners. We are guests who pay a lot of money for a few weeks' stay in the holiday home.
