Description
This lovely stone country house is located on a 1300 m² fenced plot just 3.5 km from the historically valuable Omaha Beach. You can stay there comfortably with 2 families or a group of friends.
Take advantage of the great location and visit La Pointe du Hoc (6 km), the Omaha Beach Memorial Museum in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer (6 km), the German military cemetery in La Cambe (9 km) and the American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer (9 km). The medieval town of Bayeux is 20 km from the house and a visit to the Caen monument, castle and lively town, 40 minutes from the accommodation, is also worthwhile. The property is located in a region with fantastic gastronomy, characterised by fresh seafood, French cheeses, cider, butter, cream and caramel. You will also find plenty of picturesque fishing ports, such as that of Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue. The seventh wonder of the world, Mont Saint-Michel, a protected monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an hour and a half's drive away.
The rural accommodation features a spacious games room Wi-Fi via fibre optic, a well-equipped kitchen, a barbecue, table tennis, comfortable loungers and great views of the large garden. There is a shower room on each floor and plenty of recreational facilities for children.

the house certainly has nothing to complain about communication with the concierge was less good
The cottage is secluded with a lovely garden. The location is perfect to drive to various sights. There are no facilities in the village so if you want to go for peace and quiet you are in the perfect place. The shower downstairs has some defects but something is being done about that. We had a fantastic stay.

Absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect for history buffs, with so many landmarks nearby, The house itself is charming and well-decorated, We spent a lot of time in the garden, soaking up the sun, Can't wait to return!
