The farmhouse rests in a small park in the French countryside. You'll feel old times as you hear the sound of birds and crickets, smell lime trees, breathe fresh air and have lots of space at your disposal. Sports enthusiasts can go for canoeing, water skiing, golfing, horseback riding, etc. here. For a pleasant day out, the lake is at 4 km. Grocery stores and restaurants are at 5 km.
The farmhouse has indoor heating. In the large living room with a cooking island, you'll have plenty of room to cook, eat and relax. In front, there's a huge terrace, where you can go sunbathing, enjoying a refreshing drink and barbecuing meals. The enormous garden offers shade to have meals or read in silence.

Smooth arrival by homeowner. Cottage was fine, every comfort is present.The pool you share with the owners but they give priority to the host family. Even if you live next to the owners, they respect privacy.There are shutters on all windows, which we do have a plus found (for children, warmth). In the immediate area there is not very much to do. So you usually need the car. At some distance you have all kinds of activities. Recommended: visit to the village of Oradour-sur-Glane, romantic town of Brantôme, vélorail (Périgord), caves of Villars, Thiviers, ... Supermarket (Carrefour) 10-15 minutes away by car. Very quiet around the house.
Nice owners live next door, you share the pool with them. House is quite dark and rather small. House is in a "hameau" (cluster of houses). Beautiful area for walking or cycling. Very remote, first city at 45 minutes by car, supermarket 15 kilometers.
Fantastic environment and nature around the corner. Especially the huge garden was great, with the pool. Owners are very kind and keep their distance to just let you have your holiday. 2 wonderful weeks, Would definitely come back here. Thanks!
