By opening this sliding door you can turn the two separate rooms into one big living and sleeping room. The romantic little bathroom with a toilet, washbasin and bath with a shower is very inviting. Next to the bedroom and bathroom there is a smaller room with a big cupboard wall and another bed (100 x 200cm). The pretty kitchen with blue-painted wooden cupboards is equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove, fridge (no freezer compartment), microwave and cookware, a Nespresso machine, coffee machine and toaster. There is not oven. The kitchen and the living room open onto the roofed terrace with very beautiful seating and electric lighting. There is a heater for cooler evenings. An idyllic walk up the road to the natural forest with a great view of the villages in the valley and of Franconian Switzerland is ideal for switching off. It is about 30 minutes by car to the Fichtel mountains and Franconian Switzerland. There are beautiful thermal baths with a spa about 3km away. This property is also ideally situated for golf enthusiasts. The idyllically located golf course, one of the most beautiful in Upper Franconia, is only about 6km away. The next biggest town, Bayreuth (about 15 minutes away by car) provides shopping facilities, various bars, smaller clubs and many places of interest. There is a pretty little mill about 3km away, inviting you to enjoy a typical local meal. You can also shop at the farm, at the local butcher’s and at the wine press house around the corner. In winter the little house can be heated with gas heaters. There is also a fireplace in the living room. Plenty of wood is available and included in the rental price. If there is strong snowfall then the driveway to the house might not be passable. The wonderful view and the snowy garden will compensate for that, however.
