Close to the park is the forest lake De Zandenplas, equipped with sandy beaches, restaurants and play facilities. There are also many lovely villages and towns in the area, such as the fortified town of Elburg or Harderwijk. You will also find great locations in the region for a day out, such as Burger's Zoo, Walibi and the Dolfinarium
